Pinewood Products offers a range of timber treatments to suit your specific needs. Our capabilities include CCA treatment for outdoor timber, ACQ as a high-contact CCA alternative in H3 and H2F for the housing frame and truss market.
CCA Timber Treatment
Copper Chrome Arsenate (CCA) is a treatment that is used for our most exposed and critical low-contact wooden structures including, fencing and landscaping. CCA is a pressurised treatment that is ideal for fungal and termite prevention.
ACQ Timber Treatment
Alkaline Copper Quaternary (ACQ) is similar to CCA. However, ACQ does not contain any arsenic, making it the perfect treatment for wood products that are exposed to the elements and with high-contact, such as outdoor furniture, patios and decking, picnic tables etc.
H2F Timber Treatment
Known as the “Blue Termite Treated Timber”, H2F pine is used for construction south of the tropic of Capricorn. H2F treatment is used to minimise the chance of an invasion by insects and termites. H2F is commonly used for framing and must be shielded from wetting.
